Program for training of Kazakhstani personnel

Within the framework of cooperation between LLP “Nouvelle Mining” and the apparatus of the Akim of Algabas rural district of Zhanasemey district of Abai region, a program for financing the training of citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan in in-demand specialties of the mining and related sectors of the economy is being implemented.

List of funded specialties:

  • Mining engineering;
  • Geology;
  • Mine surveying;
  • Mineral processing;
  • Metallurgy;
  • Automation of production processes;
  • Industrial safety;
  • Power supply;
  • Mechanics and technical maintenance of mining equipment;
  • Other specialties required by the subsoil user.

Educational organization where training is carried out:

  • Karaganda Technical University named after Abylkas Saginov.

The list of educational organizations may be updated by agreement of the parties.

Conditions for financing of training:

  • Financing is provided at the expense of LLP “Nouvelle Mining” within the funds allocated for the training of Kazakhstani personnel.
  • The amount of the educational grant is 1,000,000 (one million) tenge per year per student.
  • The total number of students provided for by the Program is 4 (four) people.
  • Training expenses are confirmed by relevant contracts, payment documents and acts.

Criteria for selection of students:

Citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan who meet the following criteria are allowed to participate in the Program:

  • presence of citizenship of the Republic of Kazakhstan;
  • compliance with the requirements of the educational organization;
  • residence in the territory of the relevant region, if such a condition is provided;
  • successful completion of competitive selection;
  • compliance with other criteria established by the competition commission.

Selection of candidates is carried out on a competitive basis with ensuring openness and equal access. When considering candidates, academic performance, learning results, chosen specialty, professional orientation and demand for relevant specialists are taken into account.

Recipients of the educational grant:

In accordance with the decisions of the Akim of Algabas rural district on determining graduates for training under the educational grant:

  • Kariyev Nurkhan Yerganatuly — graduate of 2023, specialty “Electric Power Engineering”, Karaganda Technical University named after Abylkas Saginov.
  • Kuatbekuly Bekassyl — graduate of 2025, specialty “Geology and Exploration of Mineral Deposits”, Karaganda Technical University named after Abylkas Saginov.
  • Kadilov Daryn Serikbekuly — graduate of 2026, specialty “Geology and Exploration of Mineral Deposits”, Karaganda Technical University named after Abylkas Saginov.
  • Nurzhanov Miras Nurzhanuly — graduate of 2026, specialty “Geology and Exploration of Mineral Deposits”, Karaganda Technical University named after Abylkas Saginov.

The training program provides for the placement of information on the Internet resource of the subsoil user and (or) the local executive body. Based on the results of the competitive selection, information about the students is posted in the established manner.

The implementation of the Program is aimed at increasing the accessibility of higher education for the youth of the region, training qualified Kazakhstani personnel and forming human resources potential for the mining industry.
